This new offering of washed heirloom coffees is grown close to 1900 meters above sea level and meticulously well-produced, resounding in the cup of strawberry jam and Nutella. Packaged at origin in GrainPro bags like most of the recent organic and Fair Trade-certified coffees we get in. Like all great washed coffees from this region the cup is clean, round and sweet at the finish.We are doing a light-to-City++roast to bring the fruit front and center, and it's best with for pourover methods.

The Sidama Shilicho Cooperative, which has 1,166 members, is a member of the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (SCFCU). The SCFCU was established in 2001 to represent small-scale farmers. Since, it has grown to the second largest coffee producing coop union in Ethiopia with 45 member coops. The SCFCU assists with organic production practices and acquiring organic certification. It also places an emphasis on education—giving scholarships to members' children and building schools.
