Tanzania Ruvuma AA represents the harvests of many small shareholder farms in the Mbinga District of Ruvuma Region in Highland Tanzania, where growing altitude ranges from 1200-1800 meters. This "fat (and phat!) beauty" is predominantly N39 and N5 (bourbon cultivar sub-varieties). For the last 20 years the exhaustive efforts of two companies, Soochak Bush and Tropex, have greatly raised the profile and quality of Mbinga coffee by steadily adding new and efficient pulperies throughout the region.

This coffee is stellar, rivaling the best Kenya AA's in cup quality and complexity.
