NOTE: All of our premium Arabica coffees are roasted to City+ to Full City roasts, showing minimal-to-no surface oils….we want all of the flavor to stay in the beans until the coffee is ground! Despite the additional descriptors, the first flavor and aroma you'll think of is "COFFEE".

The small island Flores sits at the eastern end of the Indonesian archipelago between Timor and Sambawa. Named by Portuguese sailors after the underwater gardens on the island's eastern end, Flores has a distinctly "Portuguese-tinge" to its within the languages and cultures of its indigenous peoples.
Beans here are cultivated in volcanic soil between 1500-1600 meters, higher than most Indonesian region coffee, and unlike most Sumatran and Sulawesi coffees are wet-processed rather than semi-washed. As a result they share the thick body and fruitiness of the best Papuan New Guinea and Javan coffees without the processing funkiness. A very chocolately and rich coffee alternative to Sumatra! Certified organic (Control Union Certification (USDA-NOP & EU2092/91) and Rainforest Alliance? and quite low-acid to boot.

"As far as the coffee(s) the Cerro de Las Ranas is amazing! You are hitting that spot on! It is juicy/full and sweet like hard candy caramel. I like that the roast leaves a bit of brightness/acidity. For me perfect. The Dara Kebada is intense! The roast profile you choose leave so much of the dried fruit in it that it is wild. Fruit cake meets Good n Plenty! I'm sure all drinkers find it very unique."
