Among them are three fabulous microlot offerings from the Gatuya Coffee Factory in Murang'a, one of the top mills in the country. From its humble beginnings in the 1970s, the smallholder-based Mwirua Farmers Cooperative Society has steadily grown to close to 1000 members, each farming anywhere from 200-500 shrubs of predominantly SL28 varietal at elevations around 1700 meters.
