NOTE: All of our premium Arabica coffees are roasted to City+ to Full City roasts, showing minimal-to-no surface oils….we want all of the flavor to stay in the beans until the coffee is ground! Despite the additional descriptors, the first flavor and aroma you'll think of is "COFFEE".

Perhaps ashamedly Badbeard confesses to having neglected Colombia as an origin but coffees from the world's largest Arabica producer have suffered greatly in the past few years. This year's crop, especially from the dense and mountainous Papoyan growing region, has exhibited the "wave of comeback" in spades. The washed coffees show once-classic chocolatey, fruity brightness of Juan Valdez's best". Colombia has its own grading system for green coffees, and "Supremo" is their highest grade. While I purchased this coffee primarily as a blender for its consistency and fruitiness, it makes a very delightful single origin espresso and of course benefits from either Hario V60 or Clever pourover method.

Badbeard Coffee's batch roaster 'rossalina'`
Rossalina is our small-batch roaster capable of roasting samples down to a half-pound with exquisite control. The hallmark of great coffee is consistent roast temperatures and even air flow, and Rossalina delivers on both counts.
"Just a comment: I'm at work drinking a cup of the El Salvador Santa Leticia Pacamara, marveling at its complex mix of coffee, caramel, citrus, and spice. The mouth feel is rich and warm, the finish is persistent, and fulls your mouth with tastes of orange, coffee, chocolate, with a hint of tobacco. Work is work, but this coffee keeps me alive. Thank you, Justin! "
