NOTE: All of our premium Arabica coffees are roasted to City+ to Full City roasts, showing minimal-to-no surface oils….we want all of the flavor to stay in the beans until the coffee is ground! Despite the additional descriptors, the first flavor and aroma you'll think of is "COFFEE".

Of Colombia's 16 distinct coffee growing regions, Antioquia is the largest for production and "where it all began"; plantations date back to the early 1800s. This community coffee was produced by smallholder farmers, as is typical in a country with such vast agricultural scope and distinctive microclimates and topography. Elevations are quite high, starting at 1650 meters and up to a dizzying 2200 meters....not to mention steep hills and relatively little hard infrastructure.
The varietals herein are Castillo, Typica and Caturra, fully washed process and sun-dried. Rainforest Alliance (RFA) and Organic-certified. Light-medium body, very clean cup with notes of milk chocolate, caramel, dried cherry, grape and orange.
Delightful for drip and pourover, surprisingly complex!

"...this morning I arose early to grind, press, and sample the El Salvadoran Women's Brew. Wow, what an aromatic and delicious treat! I first noticed a lack of offensive acidity (which is why I did not drink coffee for years), a delicacy and round impression on the palate, wonderful fruitiness, and complex flavors. This coffee reminded me of feminine-style red wines, with understated elegance, finesse, and polish. Some coffees are more about the flavor of roasting, almost a charcoal taste, but this was much more subtle and appealing to me. Tomorrow I will try the Ethiopian selection and let you know what I think. You are definitely on to something special with your coffees. "
