Continuing our quest to present East Africa's finest we're roasting Keffa's Harrar Mesela. Coffees from the Harrar region , to the east of capital Addis Ababa are traditionally natural/dry processed and represent the most exotic taste and fragrance spectrum….spicy, smoky, dense, floral and fruity. Importer and native son Samuel Demisse has gone to extra lengths, especially in the laborious cherry sorting process, to ensure this coffee reached a Grade 1 classification, and the results are outstanding. Heirloom varietals (longberry, shortberry, moka) grown around 1800 meters. Blueberry and jasmine notes abound in our light roast.
