Our first natural decaf offering from the DESCAFECOL facility in Manizales, Colombia. The decaffeinating agent is ethyl acetate derived from sugar cane, making it distinctive from other water-processing methods. Not surprisingly the resulting coffee is a sweet and full-bodied rendering of fine Caturra and Castillo varietals. This offering brought by our partners Traviesa Coffee popped out on the cupping table recently and we had to have it!. As always with our decafs, you'll think you're drinking caffeinated coffee!

Badbeard Coffee's batch roaster 'rossalina'`
Rossalina is our small-batch roaster capable of roasting samples down to a half-pound with exquisite control. The hallmark of great coffee is consistent roast temperatures and even air flow, and Rossalina delivers on both counts.
"Just had my first cup of the Terruño Nayarita Natural you were kind enough to send me, for which, thanks. What lovely stuff! Nicely rounded body with a smooth top, and a bottom that lays gently on the tongue. The overall balance is beautiful. The flavor of this stuff is, I think, too delicate to go into a blend without losing its essential character, and should, in my opinion, be offered only as a straight single origin.
